Terms of Service
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”), which runs Amicium. By creating an account or using Amicium you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. Who can use Amicium
- You must be at least 13 to create an account.
- If you’re 13, 14 or 15, a parent or guardian must approve your account before you can use it. They can see a summary of your activity and switch features off.
- Dating (Connections) is for adults aged 18 and over only. Communities can also set their own minimum age.
- You must give accurate information, including your date of birth, and keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
2. Your content
You own what you post — posts, photos, clips, messages and profile details. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share it only as needed to run Amicium and in line with the visibility you choose (for example “friends only” or a private community). This licence ends when you delete the content, except where others have already shared it or we must keep it by law.
You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for it following our Community Guidelines.
3. Linked gaming accounts
You can link accounts from Steam, Battle.net, Riot Games, Xbox, Fortnite, Twitch and others. When you do, you authorise us to fetch the data described in our Privacy Policy from that platform and show it according to your privacy settings. Those platforms have their own terms, which still apply to you. We’re not responsible for their availability or accuracy, and you can unlink at any time in Settings.
Amicium isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher or platform — see Trademarks & Attributions.
4. Communities, LFG and events
Community owners and the people they appoint set their own rules, roles and membership decisions, within these terms. They can remove posts and members from their community. We may step in, including removing communities, where our Community Guidelines or the law require it.
LFG sessions, events and server listings are arranged by players. We don’t run the game servers or matches listed, and aren’t responsible for what happens in them.
5. Marketplace
The Marketplace is a classifieds board: we don’t sell, hold payment for, or deliver items, and we aren’t a party to any sale. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly and are responsible for the item, payment, delivery and any legal requirements. Never pay outside a method that protects you, and report suspicious listings. Prohibited items are listed in our Community Guidelines.
6. Dating
Dating is optional, separate from the rest of your profile, and for adults only. Take care when meeting anyone: meet in public, tell a friend, and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. We may verify ages and remove accounts we believe are under 18.
7. What you must not do
- Break the law, or our Community Guidelines.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or exploit anyone — especially children.
- Scrape, bot, overload, reverse engineer or get around security or rate limits on Amicium.
- Use Amicium to sell cheats, account boosting, stolen accounts or anything that breaks a game’s terms.
- Create accounts for someone else, or a new account after being banned.
8. Moderation, suspension and ending your account
We can remove content and warn, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or put others at risk, and we’ll tell you why unless doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. You can report content from any post, profile, message or community. You can stop using Amicium at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy).
9. The service
Amicium is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but game data comes from third parties and features may change, pause or end. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for dealings between users.
If you’re a consumer, you have legal rights these terms don’t affect.
10. Changes and disputes
We’ll tell you about important changes to these terms in advance, in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction — though if you live elsewhere in the UK or EU you can also use your local courts.
